Went to see Amityville Horror today. I loved it. I'll put all Amityville Horror-related stuff behind a cut for people who haven't seen it and/or the original.

Why am I so excited? Iono, really, because the first one sucked. I guess I'm excited because it's an excuse to get out of this damn house for two hours and consume snacks that will one day kill me.

I'm surprised that nobody's used "The Killer Snacks" as the title/subject/whatever of a horror movie. I mean, they had "The Killer Eye" (I'm not kidding, I saw it on DVD the other day at Borders). I think if an eye can be threatening, pretty much anything can.
Now that I've said that, "The Killer Snacks" will be made into a Supersize Me-type of educational film and shown in schools nationwide. Then kids will come and beat me up for having to watch it. Oh well. At least I'd be famous.

New layout. Although I liked the image for the last one, it was driving me up a wall. *scratches head*
The image was originally a .png, but it took forever and a day to load so I made it a .gif (it actually looked worse as a .jpeg, if you can believe it). Most likely won't stay long but needed the change.

I'm tired whenever I try to do something, then I lay down and I'm not tired anymore. It's very annoying when your body acts like a 4-year-old ("No! I don't wanna take a nap! No! No!"). *sighs*
I miss Alex. Haven't talked to him in 23 forevers.
My mom finally took down the candles and white paper over everything. Bad thing : that creepy crosses-and-rosaries thing she has in the hall is back in sight.
Crosses and rosaries don't sound scary, but it creeps me out. They cover the entire wall. When you wake up at 4 AM, stumble out of your room, and see a wallful of those things staring back at you, it feels like you're in a horror movie.
Oh well, at least no vampires will ever make it in our house. *shrugs*
Oh, and happy birthday to my father (yesterday) and to Gerard Way (today).

The Pope's dying. Hasn't he been dying since...forever? But nevermind. All the news stations are focused on those two lights in his apartment, or as I like to call it...POPECAM!
My mother and I were talking about the lightbulbs in his apartment. What if they burnt out, but he wasn't dead? I mean, if you replaced the bulbs people'd think he had risen from the dead. They'd be really bummed when he actually died, eh?
And what if only one bulb went out? What would that mean?
Who knows.
